Describe EMS Experience: The program offers a wide variety of EMS experiences including air and ground transport.
EMS relating training opportunities: Aeromedical EMS, Ground-based EMS, Teaching and EMS director opportunities
Aeromedical experience: 2 Helicopter-system with option for participation in EMS rotation

Describe unique research resources available to the residency: Large variety of simulation, EMS, and clinical
EM research resources are available as well as an animal research facility, medical school faculty,and statistician data support.

Resident Benefits
Uniform allowance per year:Scrubs and lab coats are provided to each resident
Educational stipend allowance per year: Residents receive 1000.00 stipend during residency in addition to
support for education and conference travel expenses to one national conference or any conference where the resident has an abstract or similar academic presentation
Educational materials provided outside allowance per year: All residents receive Tintinalli text, Annals of
Emergency Medicine and Academic Emergency Medicine. ATLS, PALS, ACLS and EMS medical control certification is provided by the program. Membership to SAEM, ACEP, and EMRA paid by program for each resident throughout residency
Resident CME policy: Funds may be used for educational texts, conferences or similar education materials
or activities
Types of insurance coverage provided: Residents are fully insured throughout the training period
